These terms describe how we work with you when you hire Marqo Studio. Plain language, no small print hidden anywhere.

Who we are
Marqo Studio is a creative studio based in Porto, Portugal. The legal entity operating the studio is Nuno Bernardes Lda, registered in Portugal. Official company details are available on Racius.
Scope of services
We work on brand identity, web, product, and narrative projects. Every project starts with a written proposal that defines deliverables, deadlines, fees, and assumptions. The terms of that proposal prevail over this document whenever they conflict.
Acceptance and cancellation
Proposal acceptance can be made by email or digital signature. Either party may cancel an ongoing project with written notice; in that case, work performed up to the cancellation date is invoiced pro-rata.
Payments
Unless agreed otherwise, invoices are issued in euros (€), with 50% at project kick-off and 50% on final delivery, due within 15 days. Late payment may suspend ongoing work.
Intellectual property
Once the final invoice is paid, the commercial rights to the final deliverables transfer to you. Marqo Studio retains the right to feature the work in our portfolio, social channels, and award submissions unless we've agreed otherwise in writing.
Warranties and limitation of liability
We deliver the work with the care and skill expected from experienced professionals. Our maximum liability is limited to the amount already paid for the project at issue.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Portugal. Any dispute is subject to the courts of Porto.
